2 – Kevin De Bruyne
Club: Manchester City
With Sergio Agüero away through suspension, the burden of pushing Man City to victory against Leicester, currently four points behind table-toppers Chelsea, could rest on the shoulders of Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian did so twice when Agüero, also missing through suspension at the start of the season, missed clashes against Manchester United and Bournemouth, with De Bruyne subsequently on the score sheet in both games.
City have also never lost in games in which the Argentine hasn’t featured, but De Bruyne’s luck in front of goal, as far as the league is concerned, has dried up since September. There’s every chance the tide could change against the struggling Leicester, but in any case, someone like Kelechi Iheanacho, likely to lead the line after scoring versus Celtic in midweek, could prove to be a better alternative.
