3 – Christian Benteke
Club: Crystal Palace
The pressure is on at Selhurst Park, even after Crystal Palace’s convincing 3-0 victory at home to Southampton last weekend, but one man who’s most likely to relieve the stress that comes with languishing in the bottom half of the table is Christian Benteke.
The Belgian striker has found the back of the net seven times since joining from Liverpool for an initial fee of £26.5 million this summer, with the ex-Aston Villa man going four in four in the lead-up to Crystal Palace’s trip to the KCOM Stadium to face Hull City.
Since Hull’s impressive start to the season, the Tigers have picked up just one victory in 12 league games, which sees them come into the clash in 19th place. Benteke could well have some joy here and spearhead Palace to an important victory, as he did so many times during his three seasons at Villa Park.
