2 – Gylfi Sigurðsson
Club: Swansea City
If the tone set by Swansea so far this season extends itself throughout much of the remainder of the campaign, I can promise you there won’t be many more times you’ll see a Swansea City name in our ‘hallowed’ list, but this week is an exception.
The off-song Swans host Crystal Palace this Saturday, also struggling to patch points together and, most importantly for us, are leaking their fair share of goals.
This particular flaw isn’t exclusive to the Eagles, who are yet to secure a clean sheet this season, with Swansea shipping in 22 goals already this season, a mark only surpassed by West Ham United (23) and Hull City (27).
If the trend continues, we could be in for a nice dosage of goal action at the Liberty Stadium, which might mean a big showing from set-piece specialist Gylfi Sigurðsson this week, with the home advantage on his side.
