3 – Sadio Mané
Former Everton and Manchester United boss, David Moyes, returns to Anfield not as the enemy, but as a bearer of many happy memories for the red half of Merseyside.
On three occasions in his career, Moyes managed to beat the Reds, all away from Anfield, whereas Liverpool drown those triumphs with 14 victories altogether against the Scotsman.
With the last win for Moyes coming in 2011, he’s now tasked with intersecting the current run with 19th placed Sunderland, albeit off the back of a precious display against Hull.
The odds are stacked heavily against the Black Cats, though, who may have to be on top form to thwart the fluidity of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mané, thus far powering Liverpool to 2nd place. It could well be all too much for Sunderland to handle.
