3 – Stephy Mavididi
Primary Position: Striker
This guy, like Iwobi, has missed the hype train – but I can see a big future for him. He’s still very young and regularly scoring goals in the reserves. Physically he is well built, but he is also very quick, few strikers can boast such a mix of attributes – he is of a similar ilk to Romelu Lukaku. With Arsenal’s front men all fairly old, there is certainly space for Mavididi to come into the first team in a few years. This season he has been playing more regularly in a number 10 role. This may be an attempt to improve his technical ability and link up play, because as previously mentioned this is an area he needs to work on. He is a hard working player too and that has seen him succeed in this deeper role.
