The Unai Emery revolution at Arsenal has blown minds away.

On Wednesday, the Gunners completed the signing of Matteo Guendouzi – fifth under the Spaniard.

Arsenal faithful haven’t had this good in a long while. Guendouzi joined the club for around £8m from French side Lorient.

The 19-year-old, widely unknown in England, has made some surprising assertions about the North London club.

“It’s something I’m immensely proud of. Arsenal has always been the team closest to my heart and a side I’ve wanted to join since I was a child,” he revealed.

“It gives me great pride – it’s incredible. I hope I can do great things here.

“It doesn’t get any better than coming to a club like this, with so much history, like Arsenal. I’m hugely proud.

“My hope is to become a top player here at Arsenal.”

Despite only 19, Guendouzi garnered over 20 appearances for Lorient last season. The central midfielder has played for France at all youth levels and there were report Manchester United were also eyeing move for him but unfortunately end up signing for Arsenal.
