Arsenal might need to spend a majority or even all of their transfer budget if they even want to sign highly-rated star David Neres.
Neres is expected to leave Ajax this summer and Arsenal have allegedly held discussions about obtaining the player.
Chelsea appears to be in shaft position to sign the forward given that their transfer ban bid is effective. However, regardless of whether Arsenal was truly thinking about a move for him, €40m would blow most of their financial limit for this summer.
A Dutch report claims, “Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool are in the race for the signing of David Neres. The Brazilian forward of Ajax must cost in more than the price of 40 million euros.”
Nonetheless, they are getting their data from an ‘exclusive’ in The Sun.
Neres is under contract until 2022 subsequent to signing a contract deal in September, 20 months in the wake of landing from Sao Paulo for an expense of £10.8m.
This season, he has 8 goals and 11 assists in 26 Eredivisie matches and an aggregate of 12 goals and 15 assists in 50 matches over all competitions, in spite of the fact that he has neither scored nor assisted his last six games after scoring seven goals in the eight games before that.
