Danny Ings scored a vital equaliser from the penalty spot against Aston Villa this weekend and almost grabbed a late winner in the game that eventually finished 1-1.
Ings has been praised by many this season after firing goals in at the top division of English football but many are still unconvinced by the U-21 striker, who appears to be splitting opinions amongst fans. Whilst his performance at the weekend wasn’t his best, his pace was difficult to deal with and he found the net, before hitting the frame of the goal late on.
We get the feeling that those below praising Ings are Burnley fans, whilst the criticism is coming from rival fans across the league- perhaps even a Blackburn fan in deep cover.
Ings would have gotten that header at the death had it been left #twitterclarets

Danny Ings, the way he celebrates you would think he’s god’s gift to football but really he is struggling for goals in a poor team #MOTD
