ST: Danny Welbeck (£17m)

Captured from Manchester United in 2014, Danny Welbeck has shown flashes of his brilliance during his Arsenal career but has struggled to find consistency- mostly due to a vast array of injury problems that have prevented him making a lasting impact.

A return of ten Premier League goals in 52 appearances isn’t the best record but he’s spent the majority of his career for Arsenal playing out wide, although central opportunities came in the final months of last season. Ahead of next summer’s World Cup, he’ll be eyeing a big campaign.
