Chelsea faithful have kept their ears down about Eden Hazard’s future. They may have to hold on until the Belgian national team’s Russian journey ends.
But while there isn’t news about their priceless forward, another Hazard is on the move. Kylian, the youngest of the Hazard footballing brothers, is reportedly set to join Dutch side, VVV Venlo.
The 22-year-old was snapped up the Blues last year from Ujpest in Hungary. However, the attacking midfielder is yet to make an appearance and instead remained with the developmental squad.
Kylian will undergo a trial with VVV and may complete a switch before Eden returns. A brief statement on the club’s website read:
“Kylian Hazard will train at VVV-Venlo for the next ten days.
“The offensive midfielder, younger brother of the Belgian internationals Eden and Thorgan, will try to convince the technical staff of our club of his qualities over the next ten days.”
Hazard’s move to Chelsea in 2012 opened doors for his two siblings – Thorgan and Kylian. But none have managed to make the similar breakthrough as the 27-year-old.
Thorgan has since moved on with his career at Borussia Monchengladbach, while Kylian could do likewise.
