Arsenal fans went crazy when Yaya Sanogo bagged his first competitive goal against Borussia Dortmund.
The Gunners were bright from the start, with Yaya Sanogo scoring just 73 seconds in. Many questioned Wenger’s decision to star the Frenchman, who was yet to score a competitive goal before this game. Alexis Sanchez scored a beautiful goal once again. His curling effort left Weidenfeller with no chance.
Arsenal were much more disciplined than usual after they went 2-0 in front and that meant the Arsenal fans were over the moon with how the Gunners had learnt from their previous failings.
One of the key highlights will have been seeing Sanogo net his first goal, and Arsenal fans certainly noted that. They went mad on Twitter as the lanky Frenchman ended his drought and hopefully started a career full of goals for the Gunners. Damian Martinez was also very impressive on his debut, keeping a clean sheet after a string of fine saves against the German side.

Very mature performance from Sanogo tonight. Scored, but didn't let that occasion faze him. Held up really well & played with enthusiasm.

I hear that Sanogo has scored. Hear rather than see as we've managed to lock ourselves out of our own home. Such joy!
