Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly opened talks with Sassuolo for their midfielder Manuel Locatelli, who has been brilliant in the Euro 2020.
The Italian giants were reported to be long term admirer of the 23-year-old midfielder, with reports confirming that an offer worth €30 million, plus RaduDragusin, was being prepared. The Biaconeris have shown considerable interest and want to reach a part-exchange deal for the midfielder who has been increasingly brilliant in the Euro 2020 while representing Italy, which increased the number of interests from European clubs.
The Juve board are hoping that their decision to include one of their rising stars in the deal will lure Sassuolo into accepting their offer as the Romanian prospect Dragusin is being regarded as a top talent, but competition at the Old Lady is quite fierce for the 19-year-old centre-back.

The 23-year-old midfielder is increasingly rising in stocks at the European Championship this summer, and he was able to find the back of the twice in their group match against Switzerland.
His agent confirmed to the media that his client sparked interest from England, but the player wished to remain in Serie A.

While the report has that the Bianconeri are open to adding Dragusin to a potential deal bring in Locatelli to the team, Dragusin’s agent Florin Manea isn’t pleased with that decision and claims that the defender will leave the club on his own terms.
Speaking to Calciomercato, Manea said: “He wants to stay at Juventus, he does not want to leave.
“There have been offers from England and Germany, but he wants to play for Juventus. If you do your best, I believe that in the end, you will get to play for Juve.
“Nobody called us with regards to Locatelli. I sent a message to Juve directors today and they told me there’s nothing in it.
“If Dragusin does leave, it will just be on loan to get more playing time, but he wants to remain a Juventus player.”
He continued: “If Juve tells him to leave, we’ll find a solution, but it’s not just Sassuolo who want him. I have to think of what is best for the player.”
