Chris Ramsey’s side were relegated from the Premier League last season, and many feel that the striker is Premier League quality, hence the number of clubs chasing his signature.

Liverpool have already added to their strike force this post-season after announcing the capture of former Burnley striker Danny Ings. However, Brendan Rodgers is keen to strengthen further in that area after the woes his side endured in that department last season.

Mario Balotelli hasn’t performed to the standards many expected of him, Daniel Sturridge has had a season heavily hit with injury and many fans will hope for a better season for strikers at the club in 2015/16 whoever they may be.

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the rumours linking their club to Charlie Austin, and judging by the reaction below, they are not too happy about it.
