Nabil Bentaleb has recently spoken of his frustration towards his contract situation at Tottenham, and to say the very least, it hasn’t impressed Spurs fans at all.
The Algeria international has become a key part of the Spurs midfield alongside fellow teammate Ryan Mason in the middle of the park, and many fans are keen for Spurs to get a new contract sorted for the Algerian.
The 20-year-old has said that he has become frustrated by the situation, and he has said that negotiations have been dragging on for nine months now.
Despite saying that he plays every game like it is his last for the club, he has still angered many Spurs fans about speaking out about what has been happening regarding a new contract.
Bentaleb has also established himself as a fans favourite, but some fans on Twitter have expressed their disapproval of the midfielder speaking about his current contract situation.
Must say that for once I’m with Levy. Bentaleb’s first full season as a premiership footballer, he shouldn’t be calling the shots.

Not a huge fan of Bentaleb going to the media but nor am I going to chastise the young man for it. Don’t run before you can walk, Nabil.

If Bentaleb did say all of that I can’t see Levy being too impressed, bad move imo

Bentaleb has lost all respect I had for him.

Disappointing comments from @nabilbentaleb42. He is a brilliant up and coming player but he needs to understand he has a lot of work to do

I think Bentaleb is a fine fine player but you just don’t go to the papers at 20 years old. Really really bad advice. May not end well.
