In the past few years Ed Woodward has been a bit of a pantomime villain at the Theatre Of Dreams- but Manchester United fans are celebrating his business now!
Following news of the imminent arrival of Matteo Darmian, adding a much-need quality right-back to the Manchester United side, fans have hailed Woodward as the second coming of Christ.
Whilst some aren’t too convinced about Darmian’s ability and other’s jump on the bandwagon, celebrating the player they once tackled during their FIFA career, a vast majority of fans are celebrating.
Woodoward appeared to use Everton’s Seamus Coleman as a smokescreen, ensuring that United’s interest in Darmian stayed out of the public eye for as long as possible and it didn’t drive up the transfer price.
United have signed just Memphis Depay thus far but could welcome a host of new faces in the coming days, should they get their planned business complete.
30k a week for darmian is god like negotiation by ed Woodward

Woodward is becoming a boss at this transfer business. Threw everyone off the Darmian scent by flying the Seamus Coleman flag. Great stuff.

Ed Woodward has fooled the British media again. No paper even reported interest in Darmian and we've already closed a deal. Fantastic.
