Alan Pardew looks as if he’s about to do it again and make Crystal Palace fans across pretty much the entire town of Croydon very very happy. Recent reports suggest that PSG midfielder Yohan Cabaye could be on his way to Selhurst Park in what could be one of the transfer coups of the summer.

The French international has endured a bit of a rough time with the Ligue 1 giants since his arrival from Newcastle United, the club we all know Pardew was managing at the time. Cabaye has recently spoken of his desire to be reunited with his former boss at the South London club.

Cabaye says, “If there is an opportunity to go back to England, I hope everyone will be smart enough to do things well”, according to the Daily Mail

Pardew is looking to strengthen his squad in order to push on from their impressive 10th place finish last season with the centre of midfield a possible area in need of strengthening. And the classy Frenchman would be perfect for Palace

With his limited game time at PSG and some reported eagerness for Cabaye to link up with Pardew once again, it seems as if Palace could be onto something. The creativity and guile alongside the commanding skipper Mile Jedinak could add a whole new dimension to an already dangerous Eagles side

Cabaye would be a quality addition to Pardew’s side who are quite possibly 3 or 4 top signings from competing for the Europa League places. Pardew is looking to improve on last seasons performance and adding such quality will help the cause. A few solid additions and who knows what heights the eagles can achieve next season.
