3 – Hal Robson-Kanu
Southampton will go head to head with Watford for the signature of Hal Robson-Kanu this summer according to the Daily Mirror.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at Championship Reading, who had scheduled talks at the end of the season, but talks have been postponed by Robson-Kanu, with his selection in the Wales squad he has stalled all talks until after this summer’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.
Robson-Kanu has been impressive for the Royals once again this season is unlikely to sign a new contract. His aim is to once again play in the Premier League.
Robson-Kanu is versatile, he can play as an out and out striker or on the flanks. We take a look at how he compares to current Southampton winger Dusan Tadic. Robson-Kanu has only managed 0.15 goals per 90 minutes whilst Tadic impressed with 0.28. Tadic has also created a lot more chances, this clearly seem’s to be a major part of his game as he scores a massive 2.88 with Robson-Kanu behind on 1.39. Southampton have had a very good season and their attack play at times has been exquisite and Tadic has contributed well to that with 0.47 assists. Robson-Kanu is once again behind but with a more impressive score of 0.31. Key passes can be crucial for any team, they can lead to a goal scoring chance.
