Southampton fans have been in a joyous mood this afternoon after the club announced the deal to sign Spanish international Juanmi from Malaga.
The 22-year-old, who scored his first La Liga goal at the tender age of 16, arrives for a fee of £5.1m and is tipped for a bright future, having made his international bow in March against Holland.
Ronald Koeman’s side fought off the interest of numerous clubs, including David Moyes’ Real Sociedad and Premier League sides West Ham United and Newcastle.
The deal was announced on Twitter and fans quickly celebrated the arrival of their new man, who was videoed crying upon the announcement of his new club.

Juanmi is a great talent, a great winger. Great signing for Southampton, pretty sure Koeman will make him even better.
