Sunderland fans have begun a gloomy week after their FA Cup adventure was cut short abruptly by League One side Bradford City, who claimed their second Premier League scalp.
Despite the fact the minnows had kept just two clean sheets at home all season, Bradford cruised with relative ease to a 2-0 victory and put their names in the hat for the quarter finals, leaving them just one game away from a Wembley semi-final.
Already infuriated by the performance, Sunderland fans were left furious with Poyet’s post-match comments where he blamed everyone but himself, just days after stating from here on it was only down to him.
Will he be the next Premier League manager to be axed from his position?
Sack Gus Poyet. Now. Too many excuses, not enough fight. Replace him with anyone else…Kevin Ball will do

Gus Poyet – if he can’t get his Sunderland team firing against Braford then he needs the sack. They’ve kept 2 home clean sheets all season!

I’d sack him mid match, hopefully use the @paddypower manager trap door on Gus Poyet

It’s embarrassingly cringey how badly Gus Poyet is trying to get himself sacked, why else would you have sly digs at the club? easy way out.

Just to put it out there, Ellis Short has got as much clue as Poyet does, we haven’t been the same since Quinn left
