Tottenham Hotspur fans are happy with reports of Etienne Capoue’s reported move to Watford, as they eye spending the funds on some big targets.
Reports suggest that the Premier League new-boys are on the verge of a £9m move for the French international, as The Hornets look to strengthen their side to avoid an imminent return to the second-tier of English football.
Capoue is due to leave Tottenham this summer as part of Mauricio Pochettino’s planned squad overhaul, which is also expected to see Paulinho, Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado expelled from White Hart Lane.
Pochettino is busy making a competitive side for next season and Spurs fans are happy with the potential sale of Capoue, believing £9m could go a long-way for them to capture some high-profile targets.
Is this a good deal for all parties?
If we happen to sell Capoue and Paulinho for the reported fee's then it just so happens to add up to £24M… #Schneiderlin

Spurs could sell Capoue for £9 million and Paulinho for £15 million. That'd be the highlight of our season if it happens.

Let’s make a deal @WatfordFC. We give you Capoue, Paulinho & Stambouli in return for a 2017/18 groundshare? Thanks guys.

Getting £24 of the £28 million back for Capoue/Paulinho is insanely good business #COYS

I'd be very happy if we signed Toby Alderweireld and got rid of Kaboul, Capoue and Paulinho. But none of this will happen.

I liked Capoue alot. He would've been ideal for AVB's system but unnecessary for Poch's regime

If Watford get Pauli and Capoue for the reported money it would be great business for them
