British TV viewers were treated on Sunday morning to Jose Mourinho live on Sky Sports’ Goals On Sunday, where the Chelsea manager went into overdrive complaining about referees and particularly yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Burnley.
The Blues felt aggrieved yesterday as they had two shouts for penalties turned away, including one blatant incident involving Diego Costa. Whilst Mourinho had every reason to be upset, rival fans were not happy with his comments- whilst Chelsea fans were loving it.
Whether the Premier League takes actions if they feel Mourinho crossed the line remains to be seen but Twitter made their own judgement- and here’s some of the best.
If this is any other Premier League manager, everyone would be saying he’s cracking up. Mourinho is embarrassing and deluded.

I genuinely think Mourinho is gonna cry, here. There are tears in his eyes. This is monumental television tbf. Box office stuff.

Problem is, there’s no agenda. There’s no conspiracy. The referees in the Premier League are simply terrible

Having Ben Shepherd and Chris Kamara interview Jose Mourinho is akin to asking the Chuckle brothers to grill Barack Obama on Newsnight

This “they’re all against us” strategy is Mourinho on autopilot, but never seen him hammer it home to same extent as this.

Mourinho really working hard to get all the boxes ticked on his “How to make them think you’re the modern Clough” check list, here.

Whether you like Mourinho or not, he has every right to be aggrieved about Martin Atkinson yesterday. Some shocking decisions there.
