It was a fairly quiet deadline day for Manchester United, as no big names came in and some went out. Darren Fletcher left for West Brom but the biggest relief to the fans was finally getting rid of Anderson.
Once heralded as the next Ronaldinho, Anderson ended up more like Ronaldo at the end of his career- as he was subjected to a lot of criticism due to his love of takeaway food. Manchester United once paid over £25m for the future star- but he failed to shine.
Usually when a player leaves a club, you thank them for the good times and wish them well. Not with this situation though- as United fans were glad to see the back of him.

Former Man Utd player Anderson: “You think I’m not fit? A player will always be criticised.” Especially if he eats too many chicken wings.
