Twitter Reacts To Phil Neville’s Shocking Comments About Tomas Rosicky


Phil Neville appeared on Match of the Day on Sunday night, and his comments about Arsenal’s Tomas Rosicky were truly shocking.

The former Manchester United and Everton defender suggested that he would ‘love to two-foot’ Rosicky. Neville was talking in response to the Czech’s excellent ‘no look’ pass that led to Arsenal’s third goal against Brighton at the weekend.

As a pundit and coach, this truly sends out a shocking message to kids who may see players and pundits like Neville as a role model.

The odd thing is, Neville used social media earlier in the day to praise Rosicky for his skill.

To later go on national television and suggest the skill is worthy of a two-footed tackle is quite something. We will wait to see what repercussions come from these comments, surely the BBC or the player himself have to apologise – at the least. As you would expect, Twitter was outraged by the comments.
