Arsenal fans will be on cloud nine today after the Champions League draw, which saw them defy the odds and draw Monaco- avoiding the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Gunners looked odds-on to face a difficult tie in the Round of 16, as they had in recent years, after finessing second in their group behind Borussia Dortmund. However, they managed to pull out a miracle and see themselves drawn with the weakest of the group winners.
Arsene Wenger will also be delighted as he faces an emotional reunion with the side he managed for seven years previously, in what will be the first ever competitive meeting between Arsenal and the French principality side.
OH MY GOD WE HAVE SOME LUCK

So that’s why Wenger wanted to blow a 3 goal lead against Anderlecht, so we could face Monaco in the next round of the Champions League!

Can’t believe we’ve actually got a decent draw. Big chance to actually get somewhere in the Champions League. #afc

Is God an Arsenal supporter? I don’t know. But Santa always wears his Arsenal kit.

Currently enhoying the feeling of going into a Champions League knockout fixture knowing that we wont ‘definitely’ lose.

Wenger deliberately drawing with Anderlecht so we avoid Juventus. That is top work. #WengerKnowsBest

Of course we can’t under estimate them as that could come back to bite, but we couldn’t have wished for a better draw. Delighted with that.

Pretty pleased with the draw. Looking forward to a new way of Arsenalling it up though.
