Ashley Barnes was the man of the moment, seeing the Clarets pick up three points in the league for the first time in 196 days, which is a long time (unless you’re a Liverpool fan waiting for a league title). Naturally the Twitter Clarets went into overdrive, with many backtracking on criticism’s of the goalscorer that they had previously made.
There was also the expected digs at arch-rivals Blackburn Rovers, whilst one fan is sat right now next to a grumpy wife that supports the Tigers!
Burnley’s last 5 @premierleague wins: HULL CITY, Spurs, HULL CITY, West Ham, HULL CITY. #twitterclarets

Superb performance from Burnley today, particularly the front two. Thought Barnes and @IngsDanny were fantastic. Wish he’d sign a contract.

Always rated Ashley Barnes. Even when I was calling for him to get hooked at halftime. Always rated him. Class player #twitterclarets
