2 – Álvaro Morata
Another striker that is set to decide his future this summer is Juventus and Spanish forward Alvaro Morata. Real Madrid seem keen on bringing Morata back to Madrid to be sold for nearly double of the initial bid, as Real Madrid have a clause exclusive to themselves with Juventus. According to the Evening Standard, this figure looks to be around the £23million mark, with a future sell on price this summer of around £55-60million. The Spaniard has been a hot prospect in the past few years, with memorable performances in the Champions League and Italian league. In comparison, the move could possibly signify the departure of Alexandre Pato, with the two strikers being considerably the same with a skilful dribbling prowess and the talent to dribble past a player. With only 7 goals and 7 assists across 34 games, partnering him again with national teammate Diego Costa will provide a different type of attack that can really cause trouble for defences.
Morata reportedly has a great bond with previous Juventus boss Antonio Conte, and was a big reason for him to come to Italy before Conte became the National Coach. It is understood that the 23 year old will decide his fate after the European Championships, but is attracted at the prospect of playing in London. Although London rivals Arsenal looked interested at the Spaniard, the North London club have turned their attention to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, which has paved the way for the Blues to grab Morata.
