Reports in Germany from BILD, brought to us via TalkSport suggest that Chelsea have tried and so far failed, to sign Brazilian and Bayern Munich full back Rafinha. After losing out on Oxlade-Chamberlain, Chelsea and Conte appear desperate to bring in a right wing back, but so far they appear to be having no luck. Surely Chelsea will manage to sign one before the window closes, and an improved bid for Rafinha may change the minds of Munich manager Ancelotti as Rafinha is only a back up player in Germany.
