… and looking fit! The good news now is that if Hector Bellerin does suffer an injury, Arsenal will have a fit back up right back at the club. Amazingly Jenkinson looked very fit and athletic, using his pace and power to burst up the right wing on several occasions, and he even got in to a good striking opportunity where he should have scored. His fitness and ability to last 90 minutes without dropping off the pace shows that he has prepared really well, coming back from a long term injury. A good pro that deserves recognition. He is never going to be the best right back in the world, but when you’ve got Bellerin as your first choice, you only need an emergency player as a back up and Jenkinson will surely be happy to play that role at his childhood club, at least for this season as he recovers.
