2 – Piotr Zielinski
Some people may have never heard of the midfielder, but the Polish international is currently on the verge of joining the Reds within the next week, according to reports. Zielinski signed his first professional contract with Udinese but joined Italian side Empoli on a 2-year loan deal. The deal is expected to be valued at around £10million, with the midfielder looking to snub a move from Napoli to move to England. The Polish midfielder scored 5 goals, alongside 4 assists in 40 games last season, but was wanted by Klopp in January, who delayed any move before watching the Pole complete the season. The player is compared to Coutinho, as he wants to find a pass but can also dribble into space if he needs to, and so can help with the counterattacking style Liverpool enjoy to play. It is understood the deal is desired by all parties, as Udinese want to avoid him moving to Italian rivals Napoli. As a result, the deal looks to be completed this week after his side kicked off their Euro 2016 campaign with a win over Northern Ireland.
