Don’t laugh. Lewandowski is yet to sign his contract extension at Bayern Munich and the German club recently admitted they cannot pay his crazy wages. The Bayern Munich striker is one of the best strikers in world football and signing him would surely silence the critics Arsene has. The Gunners have lacked a World Class striker since Robin van Persie and in Lewandowski, with a lot of persuading, there is an opportunity for the club to go and fill the void. The worst the Gunners can do is try. Manchester United, without Champions League football tried to sign one of the best midfielders in the world in Paul Pogba. After a lot of negotiating they managed to sign Pogba for a world record fee. The boost that gave the whole club was huge and his added quality in midfield, combined with the additions of Mkhitaryan and Ibrahimovic could push Mourinho’s men to the title. Arsenal desperately need an injection of quality like this and signing Lewandowski would shock the footballing world and surely convince Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil to commit their long term futures to the club.
