Jack Wilshere won his fourth consecutive Man Of The Match award for England tonight with a sensational performance against Scotland, helping the Three Lions to a 3-1 win.
The highlight of the evening came when Wilshere whipped in an inch-perfect cross to the head of Arsenal team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who headed home the opening goal of the game that came from North London. With the Gunners struggling for form this season, Wilshere’s performances will provide a huge boost ahead of a massive week where he will face Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund.
Wilshere was praised by fans, current and ex-players and a host of other notable names, with some rival fans even going as far to suggest he is underrated, which will bring delight to Gooners worldwide.
I think we seriously have to consider Wilshere as the deep lying playmaker. Can control the game with possession and dictate the tempo.

Just look at this ball from Wilshere. Just look at it. Filthy. No respect. https://t.co/JezeaGCxPP

That is outstanding from Wilshere and an even better finish by the Ox.

Jack Wilshere’s pass to Oxlade Chamberlain for that England goal was absolutely sublime. The Arsenal boys link-up.

I actually think that Wilshere is underrated. When he’s good, he’s really good.
