First summer signing? United beat Arsenal and Liverpool to agree deal for 20-goals forward

Manchester United has not been in their best of form in recent weeks, having lost seven out of their last 9 matches. There is no doubt that these performances will make Edward Woodard get involve in huge summer transfer window deals, with the aim of helping Ole Gunnar Solskjaer improve his squad.

In recent time, the club has been linked with a couple of quality players and so names have also rumored to be taking the exit door when the summer transfer window opens.

Former Chelsea and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is known to be one of those guys who will be leaving, having been linked with a move to join Serie A giants Inter Milan and Juventus, who are showing serious interest to hire his service. This has not made the Red Devils be scouting for a perfect replacement for him.

Lille and Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe has strongly been linked with a move to the Old Trafford. The 23-year-old has performance has been brilliant so far and I’m personally a big fan of him. He has scored 20 goals and created 11 assists in 34 League matches. There is no doubt that such a performance for United next term will be a massive boost.

His brilliant performance has also caught the attention of so many other Premier League clubs, with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool showing a keen interest to land him in summer.

It was further reported that United sent their scouts to watch the Ivorian play and seems to be pleased with his dazzling foot-works.

However, the Red Devils will be prepared to splash the money if they ever want to win the race to his signature ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool.
