The 21-year-old supposedly has a £52 million but out condition in his present contract and a few clubs are keen on what he has to offer.

Dias is considered as a standout amongst the best youthful defenders in Europe and has contributed an enormously to Benfica’s title push in the Portuguese League.

United took in 52 goals in the league this season which was the most elevated among the best six clubs. This is a major stress for head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who has it a need to fortify the defence in the summer.

The Red Devils needs to exploit his generally low buyout clause to snap the player on a long term contract deal.

It is comprehended that the absence of Chanpions League football has cost the club a negotiating tool for top targets like Kalidou Koulibaly and Raphael Varane.
