‘Too Good To Go Unnoticed’: Arsenal Fans React To FIFA Award Nomination

FIFA announced their shortlist for the annual Puskas Award for Goal Of The Season yesterday and there was some notable absentees, including Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere’s goal against Norwich last season capped-off a fantastic team move that included flicks, quick and fluid football with a sweet finish. The goal won Premier League goal of the season but FIFA decided to omit the England midfielder’s effort from their final shortlist, which raised some eyebrows on social media.

Arsenal fans on Twitter were furious with the decision, though were mainly unsurprised given the anti-England agenda FIFA is believed to have.
