Liverpool fans are certainly enjoying this transfer window, as the arrival of Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim marks their fifth signing of the summer.
With a price of £22m, rising as high as £29m with add-ons, Firmino becomes Liverpool’s biggest signing of the summer- as well as the Bundesliga’s biggest transfer in history.
The 23-year-old Brazilian, currently starring at the Copa America, is seen by many as the first real step towards replacing Luis Suarez, who left for Barcelona 12 months ago.
As well as being a great acquisition for Liverpool, the fans can also celebrate beating arch-rivals Manchester United to the signature of the South American star.
Whilst Liverpool do not have Champions League football to look forward to, the Reds are looking to stake a claim for a top-four spot next year- and five signings before the window has officially opened marks a great start.
Here’s what Liverpool fans think of the transfer- how big a signing do you rank Firmino as?

The addition of Firmino gives us a great looking front line. Markovic, Ings, Lallana, Firmino, and Sturridge MILFS

Firmino, Ings, Milner, and Bogdan all signed with Clyne to come and it’s not even July. Not a bad start at all! #lfc — Anfield Chat (@TheAnfieldChat) June 24, 2015
Firmino is the sort of signing #lfc should have made 12 months ago when they lost Suarez. But Rodgers needs him to hit the ground running
