Manchester United haven’t had much to celebrate since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement but there’s a general feeling that things could change next year
Louis Van Gaal left the Dutch national team to take charge of United last season and has had a decent first-season at Old Trafford, restoring the club’s Champions League status and improving the core squad.
However, this is Manchester United and that isn’t enough so Van Gaal’s project will continue this summer, with reports indicating the club has £150m to splash on new recruits this summer.
Memphis Depay has already been secured and now reports state that Morgan Schneiderlin will follow to the tune of £25m, which will see the Red Devils beat long-term admirers Arsenal to the Southampton man’s signature.
With it looking likely that Schneiderlin will be the latest recruit to bolster Van Gaal’s squad, United fans are delighted with the business- whilst Arsenal fans clash over another missed target.
Is Schneiderlin a good deal for United? And will Arsenal live to regret not moving sooner?
God hates Arsenal so if we let Schneiderlin go to United, he’ll become world class and score against us every time we play them.

Morgan Schneiderlin is great but I have no idea why he’s signing for United -on my eyes they still desperately need defenders and strikers

Schneiderlin is a good player and will improve at united and will become one of the best midfielders in the world.

I must admit I’ll be gutted if United get Schneiderlin!

Would love to have Schneiderlin at United, would be a good replacement for Carrick.

The Schneiderlin deal would be a fantastic one. As a 25yo holding mid, he’s well off his peak. Has the potential to be world class #MUFC
