Manchester United fans were left furious and frustrated this evening after the Red Devils unbeaten run ended with a 1-0 defeat to Southampton at Old Trafford.
The hosts entered the game without a loss in their last ten games but fell to Ronald Koeman’s men, who secured a narrow victory thanks to a goal from substitute Dusan Tadic. In a frustrating day, fans turned to manager Louis Van Gaal to voice their frustrations.
They picked a number of problems- the formation, absence of Radamel Falcao and playing Angel Di Maria as a striker, all of which are valid points. With Van Gaal now having the same points as David Moyes at the same time last term, could the writing be on the wall for the Dutchman?
Also, I’m still trying to figure out what on earth makes Van Gaal pick a 352. Its just so drab in every game.

Tactical genius Van Gaal has the same amount of points David Moyes had at this stage last season.

3-5-2 increasingly appears to be a vanity project for Van Gaal that does not suit his players. Now in a serious battle for the top 4. #mufc

What a load of rubbish from van Gaal about Falcao. No place for him on the bench but Wilson is there and 3 centre halves

Moyes better than van gaal #dasoooor

hopefully after today’s defeat Van Gaal tells Woodward to bid for Varane, Laporte, Hummels and Vidic, at least signs two out of four #MUFC

Somebody needs to tell Van Gaal not even the bench is good enough for Luke Shaw…#mufc

Today’s game is definitely van gaal’s fault
