Manchester United fans are raving once again today about their Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, after another terrific performance in the 3-0 win against Liverpool.
The keeper put in a Man Of The Match performance to keep out a struggling Liverpool attack, who never really got going in the match. This led to fans of the Red Devils declaring he is the best in the world in his position, which bewildered many rival fans who thing the hype-train is picking up too much speed.
Whether you agree or disagree with the quotes below, there’s no denying the young Spaniard has made tremendous progress in the Premier League this season.
The big lesson from yesterdays game was how important it is to have a top class keeper, without De Gea Utd would be struggling #LFC

De Gea’s not the best keeper in the world. Yes he is in good form atm, but if you look at Neuer he’s been the most consistent for years!

10 – David de Gea has made more saves with his feet than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League this season. Adroit.

So wait there a minute, they say Courtois has less to do than De Gea, because their defence is better, yet they’ve only conceded 4 less.

The best thing about this weekend is, its shown how obsessed rival fans are with De Gea.

Imagine thinking Neuer is better than De Gea just because he comes out of his box and does unnecessary flicks against low side German teams.

De Gea is the best goal-keeper in the world, right now.

David de Gea saving us every week is surely as vital as Sánchez’s or Agüero’s goals for their respective teams.

De Gea’s praise has lot to do w/ how he used to be; from weak performances to rather consistent ones. Still isn’t one of the best out there.
