Chelsea continued their tremendous start to the season as they picked up their eighth victory of the season with a 2-1 win against Queens Park Rangers at Stamford Bridge.
The win maintained the Blues four point lead at the summit of the Premier League table, whilst also keeping them six points ahead of defending champions Manchester City.
Brazilian midfielder Oscar opened the scoring but it was not to be a comfortable day for Chelsea, as Charlie Austin equalised in the second half- which left them requiring Eden Hazard to score a late penalty.
However, in true Jose Mourinho fashion the big talking point came after the game as the Portuguese manager hit out at the Blues faithful, stating that playing at Stamford Bridge was like playing in an empty stadium- which caused outrage on Twitter.

Mourinho needs to shut his mouth & perhaps look at why the atmosphere is not as vociferous as he wants. — TerrenceTheCat (@TerrenceTheCat) November 1, 2014
Imagine if Benitez said what Mourinho did about Chelsea fans

If Mourinho wants better atmosphere than Chelsea must lower their ticket prices and get the genuine fans back. Simple as — Tony O’Leary (@TheRealTonyOL) November 2, 2014
And Mourinho has the arrogance to complain about the atmosphere after HE moved the away fans into the shed. Mad

I was quite amazed when Jose Mourinho hit out at the Chelsea fans saying it was like playing in an ’empty stadium’ today — Ian Abrahams (Moose) (@BroadcastMoose) November 1, 2014
Love Mourinho speaking about the atmosphere of Stamford Bridge after what we get aimed at us

Even Mourinho thinks that Stamford Bridge has no atmosphere. Worst fans in the league by far! — Lawnmowers FTW (@YourMumKicksAss) November 1, 2014
Agree with Mourinho that home support is poor. Charge stupid prices and make more seats part of hospitality packages and that’s what you get
