According to The Star, Belotti is still a target for Conte and Chelsea as they look to pursue more attacking quality, with Diego Costa set to leave the club. Despite spending £70million on Alvaro Morata, it appears that Conte wishes to play with two up top and Belotti and Morata would certainly be a force in attack. The Italian international is being linked with a £70million move, but I would expect it would take someone to pay his £86million release clause for the player to move, especially at this stage of the window. I’m sure Conte would love to work with Belotti and it would soften the blow of Costa leaving, which now surely seems certain.
