3 – Wilfried Kanga
Tottenham Hotspur are hopeful off securing the signature of PSG Whiz-kid striker Wilfried Kanga. According to The Sun, Spurs are set to offer Kanga a professional contract with the club as they look to sign their “Marcus Rashford”
Kanga, who is just 18 years-old is a free agent this summer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired and a new deal was not agreed.
Kanga made a name for him-self and caught the eye of European clubs last season in the UEFA Youth League, showcasing his natural talent with a goal against Real Madrid in the semi–final. His impressive performances were rewarded as the French born Striker has already represented the Ivory Coast at Under-20 level.
The right footed versatile youngster can play anywhere on the forward line including right wing, something that will attract Spurs to him even more given the squad good rotation. Although he is still at a tender age and possibly won’t jump into the Spurs first team it is obvious Harry Kane needs some competition and some young blood could certainly give him that and relieve some pressure or even partner the English forward in Tottenham’s line up.
Tottenham have already promised the youngster that he will be involved and train with the first team, something that will be very appealing to a young player trying to make a break through.
The North Londoners have a very young talented midfielder in Dele Alli, and now could add to their youngsters within the squad in Kanga who will give them the much-needed strength and pace which Kanga gives.
His availability on a free has caught the eye of other teams and Benfica are also thought to be interested in the talented youngster but Spurs are confident they can land their man this summer.
