Every Arsenal Player Rated Out Of 10 vs. Ludogorets

We take a look at how each Arsenal player performed in their 3-2 win over Ludogorets.

David Ospina - 5.5

Poor for both Ludogorets goals and looked very uncomfortable in the first half, especially with set-pieces. Made a few vital saves in the second half but did not look at his best at all.

Carl Jenkinson - 4.5

Put in a few dangerous crosses in the first half but was non existent defensively, got the run around in the second half and was lucky not to be sent off. Could he leave in January? Check bet-uk for advice.

Skhodran Mustafi - 5.5

Poor first half from Arsenal’s rock at the back, looked very shaky whenever Ludogorets were on the attack. Much the same in the second half, left gaps in behind and was not at his best by all means.

Laurent Koscielny - 6

Much like Mustafi in the first half, poor defensively, saw the ball a lot but did little with it, second half vice versa, struggled against their attacking flair but done enough to ensure the Gunners only conceded two.

Kieran Gibbs - 5

Poor defending for their second goal, you learn to stay on your feet in under10 football, looked very vulnerable defensively but was a good option offensively.

Granit Xhaka - 7

Scored a well taken goal in the 20th minute and saw a lot of the ball in the first half but struggled to dictate anything in the second half before being subbed off.

Francis Coquelin - 6

A very quiet first half from the Frenchman, did not seem to win the battle in the middle of the park and endured a very frustrating second half, much the same.

Aaron Ramsey - 7

Ramsey took a while to get going and showed cases of rustiness with his passing, but he made a brilliant assist for Giroud to draw the Gunners level. Having 75 minutes under his belt he is certainly in good shape ahead of the North London Derby on Sunday and endured a good second half.

Mesut Ozil - 9 (MOTM)

Ozil should have put Arsenal ahead after seven minutes but saw his shot easily saved by the keeper, he assisted Xhaka’s goal with a good delivery but apart from that the German was quiet in the first 45. In the second half he did well and always looked to get the attack going, he scored the winning goal in the 90th minute, and may I add, it was one of the best goals I have seen in Europe for some time, a Bergkamp-esque finish.

Alexis Sanchez - 6

Playing out on the left hand side restricted Sanchez’s game massively, he doesn’t have the same freedom and was a different player in the first half and this was telling again in the second half as he was not able to create as much as he has done playing in the central role, a very quiet night for Arsenal the star.

Olivier Giroud - 7

Giroud started his first game for the Gunners and was very average up until his goal in the 40th minute and had much the same type of performance in the second half, very quiet but won the tackle which saw the break for Ozil’s goal.
