Arsene Wenger’s impending Arsenal exit this summer has left the club in complete limbo with regards to his replacement. Several names have been mentioned in the media, including ex-skippers Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta as well as Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri.

However, of the three, Allegri seems the most astute and qualified for the exalted Emirates throne. The Italian flaunts a rich resume, with 10 major honours – among them four Serie A titles.

On the continent, the 50-year-old has come close to clinching the Champions League twice in the last three years, crashing in the last hurdle to Barcelona and Real Madrid. His tactical mastery and rugged setup have earned him admirers beyond his homeland.

The Arsenal faithful seems to be already fantasizing over the 50-year-old. Allegri’s recent antics have only surged their dreams. He recently stormed out of a press conference after questions over his future emerged following the 4-0 drubbing of AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final.

His recent Tweet has further fueled the speculation. And trust Gunners fans, they trooped out in mass to plead with the 50-year-old to consider trading Turin for North London.
